Insurance and Payment

Insurance

Currently, I do not participate with insurance.  This means that I am considered to be an out of network provider. At this time, I do offer a billing service to my clients.  This means that you will pay for your session at the time of service, then I will submit the out-of-network claim to your insurance company for you. Many of my clients find this service beneficial.  This service is available for all insurance companies except Medicare.  I can also provide superbills that you can submit on your own to your insurance company if you prefer.  Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan.

I recommend that you check your coverage carefully by asking your insurance company the following questions:

  • Do I have out of network mental health insurance benefits?
  • What is my deductible and has it been met?
  • How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?
  • Is an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) allowed for your out of network benefit?


Reduced Fee

Reduced fee services are available on a limited basis.

Payment
Cash, check and all major credit cards accepted for payment.

Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
